Ojai Makers @ Summit School

Ojai Refill Station is a learner-run enterprise dedicated to offering practical zero-waste solutions for everyday household products such as laundry detergent, dish soap, and all-purpose cleaners. Our mission is simple: customers are encouraged to bring their reusable containers, which we refill with our selection of natural, eco-friendly products. Glass jars are also available for purchase, and encouraged to be brought back and refilled again. Through this initiative, students not only develop essential entrepreneurial skills, but also contribute to a larger movement toward sustainability, inspiring others in the community to rethink their consumption habits and embrace environmentally friendly alternatives.

The Rock Tree Sky Mushroom House is a student-led initiative that immerses learners in the fascinating art and science of mushroom cultivation, coupled with hands-on customer service experience. What began as a single student’s curiosity about mushroom growing for a science project has blossomed into a thriving team of cultivators committed to bringing fresh, locally-grown mushrooms to our community at our local farmer’s market. We offer a variety of mushroom strains, catering to different culinary preferences and needs. Known for their versatility, mushrooms serve as excellent meat substitutes and are renowned for their ability to absorb and enhance flavors in various dishes.

At Mission Beekeeping, we proudly offer locally harvested honey at our local Ojai Community Farmers Market, where we not only sell delicious product but also delve into the fascinating world of beekeeping and the art of being a vendor.
